I literally just got a new mac book pro Monday - dowloaded photoshop and illustrator - been working fine the last three days and today out of nowhere photoshop won't wrok practically at all - screen keeps freezing, major lag time in choosing tools and getting any response at all - this all began after the workspace just appeared grey without being able to view layers or artboards at all - I have NO idea what's going in - I have uninstalled and reinstalled this changed nothing - HELP!!!

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind sharing the version of Photoshop you're using along with your computers operating system?

You can try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor from Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.

If the issue persists, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

Let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Nikunj
