Photoshop keeps deleting my settings

Once again I opened PS and all of my brushes were gone, all of my workspaces I had saved are gone, and my preferences have been reset to defaults. This has happened multiple times.

Why the hell does this keep happening? It's maddening. Absolute garbage.
