Photoshop keeps freezing in an unsual way. Long term problem...

I've dealt with this problem for a while, but because I don't lose anything I ignored it. However, it's getting super annoying. When I'm working on a piece, my file and tool bar keep freezing. I can still save and most of the time use the menus. I just have to restart it, but recently it's been doing it literally all the time, -sometimes every 5 minutes, and it affects my productivity a lot...

These are my specs:

Intel i7 10700K

32 gb ram

Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660, 6 GB (with studio driver)

500 gb SSD (Samsung Evo Plus), 500 gb HDD

I use a single monitor, that being Cintiq 27QHD.

Try resetting the Photoshop preferences, before going on to other possibilities – you can do that under the General tab in Photoshop preferences.

How much spare disk capacity do you have?

Thanks for your reply. I've already tried resetting the preferences.

I've got 182 gb free space.
