See attached video.

When I'm panning with spacebar mid lasso tool the selection after I release spacebar selects in a path that is identical to how I panned. Very frustrating and makes panning while lasso un-useable.

I HAVE FOUND THE ISSUE. On my end at least, it seems to be a windows ink issue. I use a wacom that doesn't have pen pressure sensitivity if Windows Ink is on, so I disabled Windows Ink with a PSUserConfig file. The Config file contains:# Use WinTab UseSystemStylus 0 And this is saved to: C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Version\Photoshop version Settings. If I delete this file, this lasso pan bug is fixed. However it is at the cost of losing pen pressure.

Hi!

I can see that it would be very frustrating! What version of Photoshop are you working with? And what platform and operating system are you on? Did this just start happening, or have you just recently upgraded?

Have you tried resetting your preferences? Here is a help doc to see if this might be the isse: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

If you can give us a little more information, I think we can help you get this taken care of.

Try resetting your tools

Then restart Photoshop and see if that fixes it.

Still happening in version 22.3.1 .  I've reinstalled; reset tools and prefs (Windows 10).  Had to install version 21.2.7 - which works.

I contacted Adobe Support and they have no idea how to fix it either, they told me they let the engineering team know so I guess all we can do is wait and hope now.

Thanks for the Info!  Interestingly, mine is directly opposite -- I do not use a pen/stylus. And when I add that file it fixes the pan bug. If I delete it, the problem returns.
