Photoshop loads old saved versions while I'm working.

Our workplace recently got network storage for all of our advertising assets, but since switching over, photoshop has been reloading files while we're working on them and reverting to old versions that we'd saved a long time before. A dialog box just pops up and says that it's loading a file and just replaces what we'd been working on. Sometimes it reverts back to files that are 30 or 60 minutes old and we lose all the work we did, even though we have autosave set up for 10 minute intervals. Is anyone else having that problem? If so, what can we do to fix it? We can't keep losing work like this.

Are you working on the network or on a local drive, then copying to the network? You should be working on your local hard drive, as Adobe does not support working on a network due to the many differerent configurations. On the surface, this sounds like a network issue. Please clarify.

We have a shared NAS mapped as a local drive that we use. Our scratch disk
is on the local machine, however. We previously had all of our files stored
on my PC and everyone else in advertising mapped to the storage on this
machine for all editing and we had no issues. We tried using google file
stream, but it was too slow, so we switched over to the NAS on our local
network. Our issues started after switching to the NAS, but once a file has
been loaded onto our local machine, why would it reload from the network
source while we're in the middle of editing and revert to an earlier saved
version of the file?

For reference, we all are running fairly high end workstations. Ryzen 7, Gen 4 1Tb M.2, 32Gb or 64Gb of ram, gigabit or higher networking, and discrete graphics cards (models vary).
