Hi,
We're sorry about the trouble due to Photoshop crashing. Would you mind telling us the macOS version you're working on? Please ensure you have the latest version of Photoshop (22.2) installed on the Mac.
Please go to the System Preferences for your Mac, then Security and Privacy, then select the Privacy tab. Then select Accessibility from the list to the left & check if Photoshop is added to the list with a check mark in front of it. If Photoshop is not a part of the list, please add it by unlocking the window first using the lock at the bottom left, then clicking the + icon & navigating to the Applications folder. Also, grant permissions to Photoshop under Full disk access located in the same list as Accessibility. Once done, restart the Mac & check if it helps.
If the issue persists, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3
Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG
Let us know how it goes!
Regards,
Nikunj

Hi
I've done as you suggested and the dodge and burn now works but as soon as I select Smart Sharpen it crashes.
My workflow starts in LR and I send the image to PS purely to dodge and burn and Smart Sharpen but PS crashes every time.
MacOs 11.2.1 MacMini M1 16Gb. PS 22.2. The problems started with the 22.2 upgrade. I have now sent about a dozen crash reports!

Is there any way of actually getting a solution to this? PS is completely unusable at present. I am paying a montly fee for something that doesn't work. I have unintalled and reinstalled PS and the problem persists. Does anyone care?
