Photoshop Only Opening as a Background Process no application

Ive been trying to open my Photoshop but when I try nothing happens and it appears in my background processes in task manager.  Ive reinstalled, updated drivers, closed it through task manager and retried, and opened as administrator and nothing opens it I need to get it open ASAP for a school project.
