I have been completely unable to use photoshop today.

Attempts to open a file by any means results in absolutely nothing happening. No error message, no activity, just remains on the splash screen.

When I try to close it, it create an error dialog that says "Could not complete your request because of a program error.", again, nothing helpful. dismissing the error message does not close the application, and I have to open task manager to actually get it to close

what I have tried:
* Force closing all adobe processes, then starting them back up
* Updating to the newest version of all applications and restarting

System info:

  • Adobe Photoshop Version: 22.0.0 20201006.r.35 2020/10/06: 4587a1caa63 x64
  • Number of Launches: 17
  • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Version: 10 or greater 10.0.19041.546
  • System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:5, Stepping:5 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2, AVX, AVX2, HyperThreading
  • Physical processor count: 10
  • Logical processor count: 20
  • Processor speed: 3696 MHz
  • Built-in memory: 65364 MB
  • Free memory: 35932 MB
  • Memory available to Photoshop: 59887 MB
  • Memory used by Photoshop: 60 %

Is the actual error log hiding somewhere? Or is this just par for the course with Adobe?

I was able to find a number of stacktraces from what I assume is the error log for Photoshop. I've included one here.
