Hello friends
I have a big problem with Photoshop, it only appears when working with large files and sometimes with files that have many layers even if their size is small, as well as when copying Artwork from Illustrator, where it happens very slowly and the editing process becomes very boring, this appeared with me in 2020 version and 2021 version.
Knowing that the specifications of my PC are not bad and are as follows:
Ryzen 5 3600
B450 AORUS ELITE
GeForce GTX 1660
ram 16Gb 3200 MHz team t-force
Crucial P1 500Gb 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD
Western Digital 1TB Blue

You have 6GB of V (video) RAM. That is fine.

6 GB is your VRAM. Not your RAM.

i appreciate your concern.

but can installing version 22.4 make difference? because i tried more than 5 versions!

and is the free space in the c partition effect on progress? i have as usual around 100 Gb free space.

i thought i need to add another 16 Gb of ram to my reg. would it help?

and my big problem is the freezing when i copy large artwork from illustrator to photoshop. i  can't identify why this happens!

also, i attached my performance settings if you have some notes.

thanks in advance

The latest PS build addresses some issues with GPU misconfigurations.

If it's consistently crashing when copying from Illustrator - how large of a file are we talking about? Size and resolution?

I'm assuming pixels for the WxH. So the size isn't too big.

I would upgrade your Photoshop to 22.4 and try again.
