I am hoping someone in the know can help me out.

Typically when I work in Photoshops Select and Mask the view mode shows a small preview of the layer but now all view previews show three rings. What do the three rings mean?

 Thanks

Hey! Thanks @S_Gans for following up. I eventually found the answer. The three rings icon is the preview for the adjustment layers mask. Silly me.

Right, that's just a representation of a layer's contents. Since it's an adjustment layer, there's nothing to show per se. You can still see the overall composition, though.

😄 - I'm so glad you found that! I just had no idea which 2 rings you'd meant! LOL!
