In the last few updates of photoshop shake reduction appears to be broken.
In V22 its pretty much unusable. Very Sluggish and often crashes photoshop.
To ensure I’m not imagining things I have installed V22.0.0 , V21.2.4, v20.0.1 and 2017.0.0
The newer the version the worse it is. 2017 works fine and has no issues. Moving the selection boxes is smooth and the image is processed at a fast rate giving the expected result.
On V22 and 21 moving the selection boxes is very sluggish and processing takes a long time or freezes totally.
I’m running Windows 10 Pro 20H2 19042.610 On A Ryzen 3900x with 64GB PC3600 RAM and 3 PCI4 2TB Nvme Drives As OS Drive, Program Drive and Scratch disks. GPU is a Nvidia 2080Ti
Please Adobe Fix your software.
Its Obviously not the machine as it runs fine on the older version. or if you have any work around PLEASE let me know!!
I don’t really want to have 4 different versions of photoshop installed.
