Photoshop V. 22.3 (Apple Silicon) doesn't send back picture to Lightroom CC

I am testing Photoshop's last version (22.3) optimized for Apple Silicon's new chip (M1). When sending a picture from Lightroom cc for edit in Photoshop, after editings are done, layers flattened, and document saved and closed, the image is not sent to Lightroom. Both Lightroom cc and Photoshop are in the same universal mode (meaning optimized for the new Apple chip).

After several tries, I gave up.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Any help will be much appreciated.
