Hello, I'm getting the error that photoshop can't save my file as a PSD becuase it is over 2GB. When I look at my canvas/image size, it shows my document is 24.1MB. How can this be fixed?

Thanks,

Change your document format to PSB not PSD when saving.

The figure shown in the Image Size dialogue is a simple calculation of a single layer of image pixels x 3 for 8 bit images (or x 6 for 16 bit images). It takes no account of multiple layers, smart object content etc all of which have to be stored in the final file and add to the file size.

Kevin is correct - just save as PSB (although if greater than 2GB and less than 4GB you can also save as TIFF)
