I have a Creative Cloud account. I run an iMac with Big Sur. Photoshop will not open. It keeps being verified and then...nothing and I have to force quit.

Which version of Photoshop?
It might be worth uninstalling Photoshop, via the drop-down menu in the Creative Cloud app, and reinstalling it again.
