Photoshop 21.0.3 is running very slow on my machine after update (27-01-2020).

Hi there,

We are sorry about the experience with Photoshop 21.0.3 after the update.

Would you mind going to the "Preferences" of Photoshop, then "Performance" and uncheck the option to "Use Graphics Processor"? Also, increase the memory usage to 75%, change the "Cache Level" to 2 and the "Cache Tile size" to 128K. Once done, quit and relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.

But Still I am facing same Issue, can we have any other option to undo last photoshop update.

Theres is not only single operations slower but also whole functions slower compare to earlier. All keyboard shortcut keys works after 2 to 3sec.

HEllo, your GPU driver is more than 4 years old, it is an eternity in computer times, I'd start updating that.

Also, is any other software running at the same time as Ps? KBSCs are instantaneous, should not take 2/3 seconds, I suspect a third party interference.

I doubt his GPU drivers is the problem. More likely the culprit is Windows 10 auto updates. Adobe can't keep up with the amount of updates from Microsoft. Besides his hardware was perfectly ok for earlier releases. Why would it lag now? I'd say you need to rollback to an earlier release of Windows and disable auto updates. I did a test where I reinstalled Windows 10 release 1803 with latest GPU drivers then did an install of Photoshop. Everything was running smoothly with no drop in performance. Then I let windows update itself to current version. Started Photoshop and noticed a massive drop in viewport refresh frame rate. So something in Windows 10 latest release isn't playing well with CC 2020.

It's now MARCH 25, 2020.  We're still using Photoshop CS6  (updated as much as Adobe ever did), on a 16gb NEW Windows 10 PC  (MSI Z370 Gaming Plus board).

Ever since the Jan-NOW Windows 10 updates, Photoshop CS6 takes 40 seconds to load  (used to take 3).

Killing the "Preferences" file restores normal speed, until that file AGAIN gets "auto-corrupted."

And EVERYTHING in Photoshop is CRAWLING.  Delays, hourglasses, etc. even for something as stupid as clicking ANY "Image" menu item. 

We ARE willing to start "Forever-Leasing" Photoshop 2020 CC  . . .  but ONLY if IT is not having the same totally screwed up problems. Can someone at Adobe who KNOWS STUFF answer this question please!  SHRIEK!

AND, disabling Microsoft Windows Updates is NOT AN OPTION, to any SANE person.

Are there still any SKILLFUL people at Adobe, or has it just been turned into a Wall Street "Hedge Fund" MONEY SPONGE?  I'm really starting to wonder.
