Pinselgruppen verschwunden

Hallo liebe Community,

leider werden seit ein paar Tagen meine Pinselgruppen nicht mehr angezeigt. Ich kann sie zwar neu laden, doch beim nächsten Neustart sind sie wieder weg. Das geht überhaupt nicht. Ich erbitte Hilfe.

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point but it might be a permissions issue:

bitte antworten Sie mir auf deutsch, meine Englischkenntnisse sind leider sehr schlecht, so dass ich Sie nicht im Detail verstehe.

Auch der von Ihnen angebenene Link ist nur in Englisch. Und so komme ich damit nicht weiter.

Jedenfalls habe ich bei meinen Presets keine Änderungen vorgenommen, das Problem ist aus heiterem Himmel vorgestern aufgetreten.

I suspect your problem is connected to a permissions issue that prevents the Preferences files to be stored at quitting:

Another thing: When viewing a Forum thread in the browser there should be the clickable word »Translate« at the lower right corner of each post that also offers »Deutsch«.

But those auto-translations can be tripped up by typos and other things.

Kann wirklich die Größe der Datei schuld sein. Meine Pinselgruppen haben rund 2,3 GB.

I am not aware of a size-limit for abr-files but 2,3GB seems pretty large to me.

Hallo,

ich gehe davon aus, dass die Ursache wirklich der Umfang meiner Pinsel war. Ich habe sie nun von 2,3 GB auf 1,7 GB reduziert. Auch nach zwei Neustarts des PC's waren sie in CC 2018 noch vorhanden. So hoffe ich, dass nun das Problem behoben ist.

Schön wäre, wenn Adobe bei der Neuerung von CC 2018, dass die Pinsel in Paletten gespeichert werden und dann auch so angezeigt werden, darauf hingewiesen hätte, dass wohl 2 GB nicht überschritten werden sollten.

Photoshop Family Customer Community

That Forum is officially being monitored, so you might get some more definitive feedback.

Like I said I am not aware of a size limitation for abr-files but could not locate any definitive statements on the issue, either.
