Portraiture / Actions / Cropping

I am cutting way back on my business and feel like Photoshop is more then what I need now.

Before I decide to cancel Photoshop I'm looking for recommendations on other programs that I can use Portraiture, Actions and Croppping in. 

I realize this may not be possible, and LOVE photoshop but just thought I'd check to see if there are any other programs out there. Maybe Adobe even has something?

Photoshop Elements still is available with a perpetual license as far as I know. 

As Photoshop competitors Affinity Photo (not free) and Gimp (freeware) come to mind.
