Hello, Whenever I open a file in Photoshop there is a grid overlayed on the image. I have to click Hide Extras every time I open an image. There seems to be no way to stop this happening and it is making using Photoshop very annoying. Thank you for any help.

Thanks for your reply. The grid was on every time I opened an image. I have found out how to stop this. It is View/Show/None while an image is open, then close the image. It worked for me anyway.

Same, for some reason view > extras ticks back on whenever I open a document and every so often by itself even though I turn it back off frequently... It's not a big deal or anything but I don't remember it happening before...

Adobe please help! I just upgraded to CS22 and I cannot get Extras to be unchecked upon opening Photoshop. I have tried everything including show>none, unchecking extras, unchecking extras with a jpg open and closing out. NOTHING is working. I tried dumping the preferences and starting with a fresh set and saving. Nope. Adobe, tell me how to fix gthius. Thx in advance.
