Problem saving edited images in Photoshop 2020 on Mac

Suddenly i keep getting an error message that there is a problem and an image cannot be saved - if i leave it and shut my laptop down a few times it does then work but this is ridiculous to have to keep doing, is this an update fault?

Literally started happening in the last few days, i dont believe there has been any additional updates in that time?

It will work one minuet and not the next, it's ridiculous and so frustrating.
