Problemas com o Photoshop

Quando vou ultilizar a ferramenta Texto, ela trava e não funciona... assim como o photoshop inteiro trava tendo que desligar o computador para conseguir mexer em algo

Can you not force quit Photoshop?

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far? 

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
