Problems with the install of Photoshop hanging during Gathering required information, then 

the install bar that has been moving to the right, then goes back to the left and the install stops. Tried this as administrative install, rebooted then tried again, applied the Creative Tool Uninstall and Cleaner tool. Nothing seems to work to get this installed and this is a brand new install of Photoshop. There is one clue where just before the install bar moves back to the left, there is a blip command prompt come up and then is gone (no text is ever seen). Anybody ever seen this?

Without any system information or details from the install logs this is not going anywhere.
