I am having a problem merging a group it keep telling me can not complete your request because of a program error I need help

Yeah, me too (macOS Catalina 10.15.7 + Photoshop 22.1.0). Tried disabling the GPU as it seemed to have helped in some "Program error" cases, but unfortunately not with my case.

If the update does not appear in the CC app, go to help>check for updates.
