Program Freezes when i add photos

Hi there,

Everytime i open photo shop and click and drag a photo to edit from a folder the program freezes.

but if I open the file from photoshop it works fine.

my computer is a PC - processor AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4400G with Radeon Graphics 3.70 GHz

Ram 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable) 

Photo shop version 22.3.1 Release

What are your thoughts ? what can you suggest ?

Start by checking your event viewer for potential causes of the crashes/ freezes. From hardware acceleration issues to permissions stuff to internal Windows stuff this could be anything.

looking in the event log i found this, also this only started happening after i updated adobe.
