I still have to hold the SHIFT key down to force a proportional resize of object using Free Transform. I have checked my Preferences and the box to use Legacy Free Transform under the General tab is NOT checked. Just updated to the latest PS version 04/26/2020. Any ideas?

Hi Dan,

You need to be in Edit > Free Transform (Cmd+T) first, then look in your options bar.

Hi

Look in the options bar where there is a button to toggle constrain to be on or off. Enable it to constrain the Width and Height.

Thanks, Jane. It works, but I never had to do this before.  It solves my issue, so I'm happy!

Hi

It's sticky, so it should stay. Adobe added this button at the request of those who want to be able to toggle it quickly without going into preferences. I'm glad it's working, and that you're happy! 😊
