PS 2020 2.1 wont allow me to open or save files. Home screen also wont load

Hi, 

I have the latest version of PS 2020 on a mac. It won't load the home screen so I can't choose file size. Just shows blank screen. I've already tried checking the auto-show home screen and it hasn't worked. It also won't allow me to open or save any kind of file, new or old. I've tried uninstalling and installing again, changing preferences/resetting preferences and nothing seems to work. My OS is also up to date. 

How can I fix this?
