This has happened to me a few times now: select multiple shape layers > click on shape tool on left toolbar to bring up top toolbar > click fill color box in top toolbar > click color picker > start to drag color selector around gradient box and the app freezes with pinwheel mouse and "Application Not Responding" on icon.
I see other bugs for color picker freezing PS as well, but not this specific issue.
Attached a screenshot of the state it froze in most recently.
