PS can not import from LR!!!???

I have a new mac and have LR and PS up and running. I'm having an issue when i finish  editing in LR then opening it in PS to finish editing. 

I'm getting an error message "can not open DSCO5756.dng because of dick error. 

I have googled it and found that i needed to turn on  acsess in system pref. i turned on the LR that showes up but PS does not show up in that panel. 

can someone tell me how to get this fixed?
