PS crashes when drag and drop

PS crashes every time i drag and drop a photo or a layer from one project to another or from the desktop.

also crashes when i manually arrange the windows in the workspace.

it just freezes for a while and the crashes.

never had such a problem before - it started a couple of days ago - not sure if related to PS ver update.

i am using ver 22.4.0 

32GB RAM / Windows 10 Pro ver 20H2

Im having the same issue. Its a MAJOR Issue!

22.4.1 fixed this issue, I think. Was just released a few hours ago.
