PS will not open Vs 2020 and now 2021

Started today before updating anything after either editon starts running this message: " Could not initialize Photoshop because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered."  Never seen this before!  Updated both editons today and same thing. Also restarted the computer.   Do I contact Adobe? Thanks for any help!

Try resetting your preferences for PS 2020 and PS 2021 and run Check Disk so Adobe Common Files used by all version of Photoshop are checked.

Thanks JJMack! That's about what the help desk did. All better now but only open the newest version now.
