In the PS guide it says to use a lower edge contrast value for soft edges while using the magnetic lasso but states the opposite for the mag pen tool, that you should raise the amount in the field for lower contrast photos -- this is quite confusing based off the assumption that a low-contrast photo usually entails a softer edge. I'm just clarifying that this is correct and not an error/inconsistency in the guide itself.
