Hey, I've been seeing this error for about a week now. I can't open anything on Photoshop and when I try to change any settings the same error message pops up. I've tried uninstalling and installing previous versions but that doesn't seem to be working either.
Without any system info we can't even begin to guess. This error message is way too generic. If it occurs with the most basic functions then chances are you have some serious problem at the system level like a driver not working or having permissions issues. Again, impossible to know. You have to try and be as precise as you can and give us soem details.
