Raw in CS6

I am trying to open a raw file in CS6. it tells me this file is not supported. isnt camera raw built in to CS6?

Hi! About a year ago I posted a question about Camera RaI see I have version 9.1 and I need 9.12 (when i tried using a camera that is supported by 9.1 it worked). How can i update my camera raw?

Photoshop CS6 is 8 years out of date. The final ACR version that would run under CS6 was 9.1.1 (that's nine-one-one).

For newer versions of ACR you need a newer Photoshop.

You can convert that raw file to dng and open it in ACR
