Jane I am encountering the same issue as outlined above but the soloution does not work for me? Any other options that I can try?

Hi @DaSea 

 

Your screen shot looks nothing like the issue that the OP was having with Ordinals. From what I can see, you are getting the placeholder text "Lorem Ipsem" when you start a new layer. You have two choices:

  • Start typing across the selected text to replace it
  • To disable it, go to Edit menu > Preferences > Type  uncheck "Fill new type layers with placeholder text"
