Hello everyone,

It is August 2020 and I had to reset Windows 10 in July due to an Update problem. The Win 10 reset kindly removed all my non Microsoft Apps including everything Adobe. It was nice enough to tell me what it removed.

I find that I can't reinstall the Adobe Software that was working previously.  Now I can't transfer my photos from my camera to the Photoshop 3.2. without reinstalling it and I need to register.  What is the workaround for this. problem?  All my photos are under Pictures/Adobe/Digital Camera Photos so they are not gone. After reinstall Photoshop 3.2 I noted that I can click on the photos and the Photoshop Viewer works.  Anyone got any suggestions on how to get Photoshop 3.2 to transfer my future photos from my camera to the Adobe Picture Directory without having to register again. I had the code in 2007, but it disappeared from my files. If I recall there was a code you could use when asked after a reinstall. Is this still available?

EDIT:  As a solution, I have an older PC with Photoshop 3.2 on it and I just turned it on and it works.  What are the "hidden" directories or files that I have to find that contains the code so I can copy them over to my new PC?  Do any of the Adobe Specialists have any insights on doing that to solve my problem?

Thanks Jane, but I think you are sending me down a rabbit hole with no end in sight. I tried downloading Adobe Photshop CS5 but then I got another message to download Adobe Application Manager.  How many downloads does this take?? I have Adobe Photoshop Album Edition 3.2 by the way which was working fine until a Windows 10 update failed.  I also noted that there seems to be compatibility problems with the CS5 solution proposed and Win 10.  See https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install/cs5-will-not-install-on-new-windows-10-pc/td-p/88714...

I don't want to do all this and end up like LarryB2001!  All I need is information on where the unlock code would be located on my old PC machine and I can copy it over.

Another download!Another download!

Flash Player - http://get.adobe.com/flash

Acrobat Reader DC - http://get.adobe.com/reader

I'm assuming you didn't take full system backups before this all went wrong (but maybe you will now...?)

All CS2 products - now impossible to install, even with disks; you killed these forever. Even likely to fail on a restore.

Photoshop album Starter Edition, withdrawn in 2009, dead. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-album-starter-edition-support.html

Get Reader and Flash Player, for the rest, don't waste your time.

Hi,  I guess you are right. This is a time waster.

I have all the data I create being backed up. I don't back up all my Program files to save space & time. I just reinstall the apps and it usually keeps them current.  Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 was an exception. It was simple to use.  I still have the install file from 2008, but this time I got the register screen.  Even the Adobe Application Manager seems to be doomed (see below). I don't think Deprecated means what they think it means. 🙂  I'll download it and keep it for awhile just in case.  I seem to spend more time updating everything than doing actual work. 😞   Cheers!
