When i use View - Flip Horizontal in a large document when im zoomed into something specific and want to flip around that specific spot,   the current view position changes after the flip and i have to zoom out and find it again.   Is there some trick to avoid this? can be any sort of macro, script or autohotkey workarounds etc.  i tried looking for some ps functions like focusing the view onto my current selection after the flip or a way to save a custom view or something but no success.

i can see a bruteforce workaround of programatically making a new small layer at the current position before the flip, and then doing Fit Layer To Screen after the flip and deleting this temporary layer again, it just feels too dangerous and disrupts the current selection and tools
