I cant render any flames.... all the usuals are yes about rgb, path, video card drivers.... I just downloaded Photoshop so it's the latest version.  I also can't redner any frames- but I'm not concerned about that.

I can render the fiber, clouds, and lighting effects no problemo.....

I've also spent a couple of hours this morning looking for a solution to this.

SharedSystem RAM: 8564MB
Platform specifics:
Device name: 7170:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Vendor name: NVIDIA
Description: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
D3D-ID: 7170
OpenGL platform info successfully constructed
I can render lighting effects, clouds, fibers, just no trees, or flames--- I can live without either, but it would be cool to make flames and trees.....

When I select render trees the black box is white... I click on either (flames or trees) it looks like something happens, but quickly... and I end up wtih no flames, and no clouds.

I solved, this for me.  I used my "brute force" method:   change one setting, see if it works, repeat.

I marked this as a correct answer becaouse it worked for me, it may not work for others.
