I  pass my pictures in 8 bits mode, then render- lighting effects.  All lightings  (presets, etc...) are available but the tools on the pic to position/ modify the additional lights don't appear. This issue didn't occur in the past

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that. Could you please let us know the version of Photoshop you're using?

Could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if it helps?

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Regards,
Sahil

Thanks for the prompt feedback. I try to reset preferences and restart
Photoshop without positive results. I then went through view menu/ Show
All/ Then remove the grid option. My version of PS is 21.2.1. It works
perfectly now
Thanks
Claude
