So I was in the history tab of ps and was deleting brush tools and accidentally deleted too much to the point where I deleted the whole project, I clicked ctrl+z but it only brought back the very last deleted brush tool, does anyone know how to retreive my deleted history?
The history steps are held in RAM and are only remembered while the document is open. Unlike layer comps which are saved into the file, once the doc is closed or the history steps are removed I believe that they are gone and not recoverable.
I personally like to have more than the default number of history steps available and always set the history options to "allow non linear history" to provide as much flexibility as possible. I make regular history snapshots and saves.
