Since Photoshop has gone 'cloud', the service is mediocre at best. The creative cloud interface is also way to bulky for the update service it mainly offers, and when PS is running it takes over my entire system. everything slows to a crawl. And this is inexcusable since I use multiple cloud networks and external hard drives. There is a prorblem daily. Just today I sent some massive transfer file to a client, only to discover that PS FAILED to save the final version of the file. OMG. It's really too much. Half a day's worth of editing disappeared. So beyond displeased.
It's probably your system rather than Photoshop.
Which version of Photoshop and OS?
How much ram and spare disk capacity do you have?
Have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences?
PS Photoshop operates on your computer, not in the 'cloud'.

Thank you, this is very frustrating. I just found the trouble shooting page and I am going to go through all of those items and change photoshop preferences. It also frequently crashes every time I use the program, sometimes in mid-edit! which is insanely annoying. I am aware it operates on my hard drive. I could add more memory (I have all slots used on my mac in use, although I can double it still) although with a fairly large external hard drive where I am constantly moving things and using two clouds, I would not imagine it would be this bad? There is still memory left on all sources. Still seems like a lot of work on the clients end.
