Save As not working

The Save As command in Photoshop CC 2021 has stopped working. Nothing happens when I click on Save As. Surprisingly, the Save As command works with the earlier version of Photoshop CC. Please help.

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Yes, I have restored the Preferences. But that is not solving the problem. 

Photoshop CC 2021 was working well earlier but since the last two days, the Save As command has stopped working. Do you think that re-installing Photoshop CC 2021 may do the trick?

I tried but did not succeed in solving the issue. Then I got in touch with Adobe Helpline and the person on the other side took control of my computer and re-worded some file which solved the problem.
