Save for Web error - Mac OS Catalina - PS v21.1.2

Hiya,

I just did the update for photoshop to version 21.1.2 

when i am trying to save a gif using the save for web export option i get this error.

How can i fix this ?

Have you already tried...

• Restarting Photoshop
• Restarting computer
• Resetting Photoshop preferences

Does this error occur within an earlier version of Photoshop? The Adobe CC app makes it very easy to have multiple versions installed. This might help isolate where the problem lies. ie Photoshop, your Operating System, etc…

Good luck! I'm in the same boat and I haven't found and solution. I've made sure all the permissions are correct but I still get this error. What is frustrating the most is this err has occurred since 2018 and Adobe refuses to acknowledge and fix it.
