I fired up my Epson 3880 as usual. Never a problem with P.S.
When opening a file and clicking "Print" I get this (see attachment).
If I click OK the print window opens but it does not remember last settings, e.g. for paper,
size, quality, etc, and 'let photoshop mamage...'
Everything has to be reset everytime. After that printing is normal.
But why is the printer not compatibe with Photoshop?
Win10-Pro, 64 bit, latest built, i7, 32 GB RAM, Nvidia 1060, Samsumg 970 EVO.
Photoshop also on latest update
Thanks for any input

Amendment:
When I go to Epson Desktop shortcut > Update Driver I get this message (see attachment) ... Run DDL > driver cannot be found in System32 > spool ... ...?
How can I reinstall the driver? Why is it gone?
And why? ... after resetting all settings the printer works fine ...?
Thanks

You can download and re-install your printer driver from here : https://www.epson.co.uk/support?productID=3642
In Photoshop you can reset the print dialogue by holding down the spacebar when clicking on File > Print

Hi Dave,
thanks for the qick reply.
I'm not sure if it was your suggestion that helped but it seems to work again.
I unistalled everything and reinstalled from the old DVD...and somehow it's all
back to normal.
FYI - the eu driver is 6.63 and here it's 6.62 ...? anyways - I picked the latest I found on
Epson Canada.
One more thing if you don't mind:
In the process the Epson Managemant app (not sure what it's called) ... it's blue in colour and offers
"Look for latest Driver", "Customize your Printer" ...
any Idea where to find it?
Thanks
