Saving files as a "copy"

When is Adobe going to fix the problem of saving a file to folder that already contains a .jpg of the same name, where it adds the word " copy" to the end of the filename? It has been several months now and several updates to Photoshop without it being sorted out. There are loads of people having the same problem. I have also noticed since the last update to Photoshop that when I use the Crop tool, on a file I have imported from Lightroom, it now blanks out part of the picture that I'm cropping, making it difficult to see where I want to crop to. Come on Adobe, it's about time you upped your game!

I agree, this is EXTREMLY frustrating, I am about ready to ditch Photoshop and just get used to using Sketch. Really getting tired of paying a monthly fee for a broken product.
