saving files to jpeg file error

I have the photoshop v 22.0 downloaded to my mac book pro. After working on photo's when i try to store as Jpeg to my hard drive. Its only storing a shell but no contents in the file. I have attached a screen shot of what it shows on file preview. sometime files also disappear from my harddrive after i store them. When i stored the file as a psd, then also it shows as a corrupt file. I worked on star stacking 36 files and when i had achieved the required output. i decided to save in psd, jpg etc and i have attached the outcomes of the files to my hard drive. Let me know why this happening and what needs to be done to fix it.
