If that doesn’t help you please provide meaningful information – like what are the Scratch Disks, what is the available space, what kind of images are you editing (size-, bit-depth, number of layers-wise etc,), what are the Performance Preferences, …

In addition to @c.pfaffenbichler 's very useful suggestions, Photoshop uses scratch disks when one is working on large images.
