Scratch disks full despite having space.

I've been using Photoshop for a few years now. I've faced this scratch disk issue before and have found ways to resolve it (ie the purge cache method as well as manually finding and deleting temp files). This problem has always been confusing to me since I have a hard drive with 930GB free space, and I think it's important to note that I can't select this hard drive from photoshop, but rather by opening the software while holding Ctrl + Alt, and even then it doesn't show up on my scratch disk menu. But now, despite having done all this, I am still receiving the scratch disk error, and I can't even save my work because of this. What gives?

I have the same problem. 16gb, 5gb, and 2x6gb free among scratch discs free and I can't save a 200mb file, export it or even add a canvas-fill.
