Screen Freeze

I am having issues with cropping, the screen freezes. Never happened before? V22.31

The latest update is having issues recognizing mid-range GPUs. Try installing the previous version of Photoshop and see if the issue persists. Adobe is aware of this issue and is working on a fix. In the meantime, this is the recommended action.

I have the same issue. I was forced to save blindly, and by doing so destroying a day's work. I was caught off guard as Photoshop usually doesn't make trouble like this. Seems to be a hickup with the graphics card. Thanks for looking into it Adobe.

What version of Photoshop are you running? This post is old and there are updates released since then that address the issue.

It seems to be a problem with the graphics card because it happens with all Photoshop Versions since 2021. It still happens from time to time but I got used to it. Thanks for your help!
