Hello,

is there an option to create a script that would move my editing page down? Something like hitting "Pg down" button on a keyboard.

Thanks

Well, I am not sure if all relevant aspects can be evaluated via Script at current; I think magnification can, but I am not sure about the exact Window size and current position of the image within the Window.

And those would probably be needed to determine the necessary offset to be used in the function »set_doc_position«.

Maybe also add your questions to the old thread to make sure to catch the attention of the original posters over there.

Hello

do you mean the visible area of the image you are working on?

In which case, these keyboard shortcuts might help you:

  • Page up/down move your area up/down exactly one "step/page"
  • Cmd + Page up/down move the area left/right
  • and home/end move to the topleft/bottomright
  • Cmd + +/- allow you to zoom in/out
  • Cmd + 0 makes your entire image fit into your photoshop window
  • Cmd + 1 displays your image at 100%

These are for MacOS, for windows replace the Cmd key with the Ctrl key.

They have Page up and doowm keys they want a script to be able to emulate they were used to scroll the document in Photoshop images windos.  Adobe does not provide scripting methods useor control its UI.
