I find this problem recently. I'm not sure if its always like this.
When I turn a layer into a filter, there turns out to have an annoying blue selection around the filter area. For example when I change a layer into Multiply. It shows a blue box around it like this [Multiply].
This blocks all my shortcuts because I'm now selecting the filter area. I need to press Esc or draw in a empty corner to deselect the filter.
I never hade this problem before and I don't know how I got it ( Maybe a preference setting? )
If I want a Multiply filter that is all I need I don't need to keep the selection.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Thank you so much if you know.
This is Windows related problem. It is not new. It has and good sides: you can quickly cycle blending modes using arrow keys. You can also pres Enter to remove focus.
