Can you help me? Command D does not work via the shortcut, only through the menu. What can it be? thanks.

Hi @Bell5E6B 

There are a couple of reasons this might happen:

  • Start with Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts and confirm that Cmd+D is assigned to Application Menus > Select menu > Deselect
  • Restart your Mac and run only PS to see if another application or browser has taken over the shortcut

Try these first and let us know before we look further.

Have you tried resetting the Photoshop Preferences? Within the General tab of the Photoshop Preferences is the button "Reset Preferences On Quit".

  • Ctrl + D (Deselect) — After working with your selection, use this combo to discard it.

you should re-install the software most probably it might be a bug of some kind!

it worked fine for me after re-installing and removing the saved presets of the settings
